Group workrooms

For working in groups or preparing seminars and presentations, we offer six group study rooms at the back of the catalog hall. These can be used with prior registration or, if they are free, spontaneously without registration.

Group study rooms 1 and 3 are equipped with a television. You can use this to present the results of your work by simply connecting your laptop. A smartboard is available in group study room 4. The remote controls for the devices can be borrowed from the Service Desk. The instructions for the devices can be found here.

Mothers and fathers are invited to use our parent-child room. Here you can study while your children play. You will find a baby changing room on the first floor by the sanitary facilities.

Please note when online reservation our booking rules:

• The group study rooms are for working groups of at least three people to study and work. Places are available for individuals in the reading room and in the textbook collection.
• The maximum reservation period is two hours per day.
• Only one reservation per group is possible per day.
• Group study room 2 is equipped as a "parent-child room" with play materials. This room is primarily intended for users with children and must be released if required despite booking.
• You will need your computer center account to book this room.

You are also welcome to book the rooms for online examinations. In this case, please contact the Service Desk in good time so that the rooms can be marked accordingly.
