The service desk was newly established in 2020 during the Corona pandemic. It combines the two previously separate counters of the Information and Lending desks and is located directly at the entrance to the catalog hall. No matter what question you have for us, the Service Desk team is here to help. Questions about borrowing media, whether local or interlibrary loans, problems with user accounts or simply questions about our other services will either be answered directly or the appropriate contact person will be put in touch with you.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer the same level of service throughout the entire opening hours. Librarian staff is available Monday through Friday between 9 am and 4 pm. Outside of these hours, basic services such as printer account recharges or renewal requests will of course be fulfilled by student colleagues.

At the service desk you will find a defibrillator. It is a so-called layman defibrillator, i.e. the device analyzes the situation on its own and gives instructions in German what exactly to do. So do not be afraid when using it.
