TUCard for students

The TUCard is valid as a library card for students at TU Clausthal. You can find an application form for the TUCard on the TU homepage. Please fill it out and submit it with a photo to the Student Secretariat. First semester students should submit the form together with their enrolment documents.

Please have the TUCard activated at the Service Desk before borrowing it for the first time!

Expiration date
The TUCard is valid for one year. The period of validity can be extended free of charge at the Service Desk, also by telephone.

Change of address
In your own interest, please notify the Service Desk immediately of any change of address. Please also note that your current e-mail address is required for notifications. We recommend that you apply for a TU Clausthal e-mail address at the Computer Center(here).

Loss of ID
Report the loss of your TUCard to the Service Desk immediately to avoid misuse. You can find an application form for a new TUCard on the TU website. Please refer to the form for the costs incurred.
 

The library card is not transferable. By registering, you accept the rules of use of the Clausthal University Library.
