Founded in Switzerland in 2007, Frontiers publishes more than 189 wide-ranging open access journals. In 2023, an institutional membership agreement for open access publications was concluded, thanks to which eligible articles for members of Clausthal University of Technology can be published free of charge in Frontiers journals.
