From 2025, the University Library has concluded a contract with PLOS. 
 

The offer includes publication services of the
non-profit US publisher Public Library of Science
(PLOS), which publishes exclusively pure open access journals in the
natural and life sciences and related subject areas
.

Thanks to this agreement, members of Clausthal University of Technology can publish free of charge in all
14 of the publisher's journals.
