Details on the publication process
After your article has been accepted for publication, you will receive an e-mail with a link. If you follow this link, you will be asked to confirm your institutional affiliation. In order to enable a quick publication of your article, you should confirm your affiliation as soon as possible.
After you have confirmed your institutional affiliation, Elsevier and TU Clausthal will check whether your article is eligible and notify you as soon as your article has been approved.
A PowerPoint presentation explaining the process for you as an author can be downloaded in German and English.
On this page you will also find further information on the DEAL agreement with Elsevier.
We recommend that our authors publish exclusively under CC BY licenses. CC BY is currently the only license type where the author does not transfer exclusive rights to the publisher. Therefore, the Elsevier contract is designed in such a way that authors should be guided to choose this CC BY license if possible. In this way, authors choose the license under which they retain their copyright usage rights and there is no transfer of exclusive rights to the publisher.
